Experience-oriented Team Building as a
method for the development and strengthening of the team is
founded on learning through action and experience (with all
the senses). The emphasis is on improving key abilities, team
culture, communication and interaction.
The goal of Team Building is to improve the quality of the
team dynamics and to develop a long lasting and more solid
team structure.
The exercises and activities (indoor & outdoor) –
whether it be rock climbing, a contest of skill or problem
solving exercise, are only tools; a means to achieving the
goal.
Natural, unforced cooperation welds the group together and strengthens the identification with the team (and the company). Team members develop strategies together, master difficult tasks and work hand in hand.
The group learns to resolve conflicts in socially acceptable ways. Communication skills and empathy are trained and the participants are sensitized to these subjects.
It is very important to reflect on the experiences and to discuss what has been learned.
